DIY: Festive Christmas Frame

The year’s end is also when we have Christmas and New Year’s parties. It’s a fantastic time to decorate your interior spaces in a special way. This festive Christmas frame from Fleur @ Home florist Chantal Post brings atmosphere and colour into your home. Make it yourself with the step-by-step instructions.

Supplies you will need

Strelitzia, dried bird of paradise leaves
Setaria italica, pink-coloured foxtail millet
Platanus, pink coloured plane fruit
Helleborus, double hellebore
Reed

Wooden frame
Natural coloured Mikado sticks
Christmas tree baubles
Pink pompoms
Plastic vials wrapped with fine wool
Bindwire

How do you make it?

Step 1: Tie the Mikado sticks together with Bindwire into small bundles.
Step 2: Then attach the Strelitzia leaves, the pink grasses and the vials wrapped with fine wool.
Step 3: Decorate with the different baubles.
Step 4: Arrange the flowers in the water vials.

    Hi, on your Christmas frame I can’t fine the sterlitzia leaves here in CT. So, where can I purchase these leaves
