A simple but fascinating summer wreath brings the feeling of summer to any garden table. Do try to use real summer flowers that were grown outside.
Moniek Vanden Berghe is one of the professional floral designers who teaches you awesome techniques in Fleur Créatif.
How you make it
In the summer edition, she explains how to make this beautiful summer wreath.
“First of all, spray paint the base with the same colour as the rattan. Weave the rattan onto the metal shape. Alternate the matt inside of the rattan with the glossy outer surface. Towards the top you widen the edge, so that you obtain some space in between where you’ll insert all the vials.”
“The vials are attached to wire in small batches and hung in the structure. Fill them with water. Now you arrange the summer flowers and disperse the colours. We finish with some bryony and feverfew tendrils.”
