Bird feeder made with oranges

What do you need?

  • Betula, Birch trunk on a stand | Citrus X sinensis, oranges
  • Metal pyramid shape | Candle wax/deep fryer oil and/or coconut oil | Bird feeder | Bird in bronze | Christmas baubles

How do you make it?

We’re going to melt fat and shape it into balls.

Step 1: Heat the fat, but make sure it’s not too hot.
Step 2: Mix the bird feed in it and knead the mixture in a ball shape.
Step 3: Cut the oranges in half and hollow them out.
Step 4: Fill the halved oranges with the balls and arrange them on the stand.

Christmas baubles and a bronze bird complete the whole ensemble.
