In this edition a lot of ideas with summer flowers & plants!
Summer Flowers and Plants Are Shining in and Outside Flowers make life so much prettier and so much more pleasant. That is why, in this edition, we want to give you lots of ideas to get started with summer flowers and plants. Let us begin with 10 simple tips for summer flowers. You can very easily decorate your home or terrace.
In southern countries, such as Lebanon, large parties with friends and family or wedding parties are organised during the summer and the people cannot imagine them without flowers. We will be showing you several events from the creative duo Maroun Abou Kheir and Samah Dagher.
Inspired by the ‘Blend’ summer trend, our Fleur Creative florists are creating colourful creations in which their objective is to achieve a balance. But the summer also means taking the bedding plants and flowers outside. We would like to propose a few creative ways of arranging your bedding plants, other than the traditional flower boxes and pots.
The summer’s exotic character is covered in these lovely creations of palm leaves combined with exotic flowers. The flower curtains are, in turn, very original. They create a nice transition between inside and outside, but equally create a nice effect in the garden. We are off to sunny Spain with Carles Fontanillas who makes summery bouquets with extraordinary structures.
As a bonus, we draw a portrait of Ahti Lyra from Estonia. Ahti is an exceptional florist. He loves the unusual and wants to leave his mark on floristry with the controversial. That nature also inspires other artists is no secret. Jewellery designer SAs Adriaenssens wants to immortalise the organic power of vegetable materials.
We hope to see you all soon at Alden Biesen for the 21st edition of Fleuramour. In the meantime, we are raising a corner of the veil.
Enjoy a flowery summer!
