Description

Jean-François Boucher is Meilleur Ouvrier de France and floral scenographer of the castle of Chenonceau (France).

He used to live and work in Saint-Avertin. His professional career as florist has already had a remarkable course: gold medal Coupe de France 1994-1998-1999; gold medal Prestige Hortiflo 1997, gold medal Junior Europacup Birmingham (UK) 1997.  As a result many articles appeared in the professional press and he got the opportunity to give demonstrations in France and abroad. Jean-François Boucher-Odent is without a doubt part of that group of enthusiastic and devoted youngsters, who are ready to follow into the footsteps of their predecessors.

He’s looking for new things, but respects the traditions and techniques that his teachers taught him. People with whom he still likes to cooperate. In this publication, Floral delights, he incorporates all kinds of food (nuts, herbs, vegetables, fruit) in his floral compositions. This results in some sixty impressive creations, beautifully photographed by Didier Ronflard.
