Summer DIY: Orange-blue floral sorbet
This floral design definitely makes you long for summer! Coloured water in a transparant container, with flowers in the same sorbet-coloured hues. It makes us happy!
The new Fleur Créatif summer issue is full of summer vibes and amazing floral inspiration. This one is an amazing floral design by our FLEUR florist Jan Deridder.
What do you need?
Botanicals
- Briza, quaking grass
- Campsis, tendrils and flowers
- Dahlia
- Delphinium
- Stachys lanata
Other materials
- Coloured water
- Water vials
- Quickrete
This is how you make it:
1. You make the base by pouring Quickrete into a tray and inserting the water vials into it.
2. Fill the vials with coloured water, arrange Delphinium and then Dahlia into them. The Stachys leaves help secure the flowers. Make it more refined by incorporating some Campsis tendrils and quaking grass.
3. To emphasize that summer feeling you can add some decorative blueberries.
