The Flower Council of Holland announced the floral trend collection for Spring/Summer 2022. Six flowers are at the heart of this collection. Discover them now!
The Trend Collection Spring/Summer 2022 is based on the Horticulture Sector Trend ‘Bright and Breezy‘. This trend is all about carefree enjoyment, where green joy is the icing on the cake. In other words: flowers and flowering plants give the interior and the outdoor space an extra boost of positive energy. That calls for a cheerful selection!
The ‘Bright and Breezy’ trend is characterised by uncomplicated patterns with checks, stripes or pictures of fruit that reinforce a festive feeling. The colour chart for ‘Bright and Breezy’ consists of cheerful and powerful pastel tones such as pink, blue, mint green and pale orange, alternated with more vivid accents. Coral red plays a fresh and softening role, and is important for both flowers and plants. White plays a less significant role in this colour chart.

1. Milkweed
If there is one colour that embodies happiness, it’s orange. Milkweed in this colour therefore offers an essential element in The Trend Collection.
2. Oxeye daisy
The Oxeye daisy (Leucanthemum) is very much a ‘what you see is what you get’ flower: pure and simple joy. This yellow and white flower is what every Bright and Breezy bouquet needs.
3. Alstroemeria
